Deye SUN-6K-SG03LP1-EU 6kW Single Phase Hybrid Inverter

A 6kW single-phase hybrid inverter for a larger home carrying a geyser or pool pump on top of the usual load. Works with a standard 48V low-voltage battery bank, which is the most common and most competitively priced battery format in South Africa.

What this model does

• 6kW rated output (6,600VA apparent), 26.1A rated output current at 230V, 28.7A maximum.
• Takes up to 7.8kW of panels. Maximum PV input 500V, MPPT range 150 to 425V, across 2 MPP trackers with one string each.
• Charges and discharges at up to 135A on a 40 to 60V bank, lead-acid or lithium, with charging self-adapting to the battery BMS.
• Double rated power for 10 seconds off-grid, which is what starts a pump or compressor without tripping.
• Up to 16 units can be paralleled on-grid or off-grid, with multiple batteries in parallel, so the system can grow a long way without being replaced.
• AC couples to an existing solar system, so a house that already has a grid-tie inverter can add storage without starting over.
• Runs off a diesel generator and can store its output, and gives you 6 time periods for scheduled charging and discharging, which is how you arbitrage a time-of-use tariff.
• Under 30dB and IP65 rated. 25kg, 330 x 580 x 232mm.
• Certified to NRS 097, the standard your municipality will ask for on an SSEG application.
