About this model
The Lynks Pro 12kW (Sunsynk model SM12.0kWLLL65) is the largest of Sunsynk’s new-generation single-phase hybrids: plug-and-play installation, oversized MPPTs with scalable battery support, a control platform that reacts instantly to grid events and load changes, and a second-generation touch display. Works with Sunsynk’s complete low-voltage battery range. IP65 for indoor or outdoor mounting; 36 kg unit (40 kg boxed).

Who this suits
A large single-phase home. 12kW of hybrid inverter gives you room to run a geyser, an oven and a pool pump without staging them, which is where 5kW and 8kW units start to strain. The 2nd generation Lynks Pro platform is the current-generation Sunsynk and generally the sensible pick over an equivalent older model.
Before you buy, check
- Your supply is single-phase. This is a 1-phase unit. A three-phase property needs a three-phase inverter, not three of these.
- Battery voltage. 48Vdc low-voltage. Pair it with an LV battery on Sunsynk’s compatibility list and confirm the communication protocol, not only the voltage.
- Your main breaker. 12kW of output needs the board and cabling to match. This is a real cost, not an afterthought.
What else you will need
A 48V LFP battery sized to your evening consumption, panels and mounting, and the balance of system: DC and AC protection, cabling and distribution board work. IP65 rating means it can be wall-mounted in a sheltered outdoor position.
