Who it’s for. This kit is built for a large home or small commercial site that already has a three-phase supply.

What it powers. Runs a large property with 16kWh of storage behind it and an 11.2kWp array. Because the inverter is three phase, it can also balance load across all three phases rather than leaning on one.

This kit needs a three-phase supply. The Deye SUN-12K-SG05LP3 is a three-phase inverter. Most South African homes are single phase, and every other kit in this range is single phase, so please check your supply before ordering. If you are on single phase, the 18kW kit is single phase and larger, or ask us and we will size the right one with you.

The short version: 12kW inverter, 16.0kWh of battery, 18 panels totalling 11.2kWp, and the mounting to put them on a tile, IBR or cliplock roof.
