Who it’s for. This kit is built for a small to medium home that wants to keep the essentials running through load-shedding and start cutting the monthly electricity bill.
What it powers. Keeps your essential circuits going through load-shedding, your fridge and freezer, lights, TV, Wi-Fi router and everyday plug points, while your panels cut daytime grid use.

Before you buy, check
- Your evening consumption. 5.12kWh of storage covers a normal evening of lights, plugs, fridge, Wi-Fi and TV. It will not carry a geyser and an oven through the night.
- One big load at a time. A 5kW inverter handles a single heavy appliance comfortably. If you routinely run a geyser and an oven together, step up to the 6kW.
- Single-phase supply. This package is single-phase. Check your board before ordering.
- Room to grow. Confirm the supported battery capacity if you expect consumption to rise.
What else you will need
Installation, wiring, distribution board work and protection are quoted for your site. You will also need an SSEG registration with your municipality and a Certificate of Compliance on completion.
