Description

Sungrow SG36CX-P2 36kW Three Phase String Inverter

A 36kW three-phase grid-tie string inverter from Sungrow’s CX-P2 commercial range, for rooftop and ground-mount business installations that offset daytime load. This is a grid-tie inverter, not a hybrid, so it does not run a battery or provide backup during an outage.

What this model does

  • 36kW rated AC output (40kVA maximum apparent power), 60.2A max output current, on 400V three phase.
  • Takes up to 50.4kWp of panels, Sungrow’s recommended maximum, so you can over-panel well past the rating and hold output for longer across the day.
  • 4 independent MPP trackers, two strings each, 120A (30A x 4) maximum PV input. Maximum PV input voltage 1,100V.
  • 15A per string DC input, so it takes 500W+ modules without clipping the string count.
  • 98.5% peak, 98.3% European.
  • Dynamic shading optimisation and built-in PID recovery, which matter on commercial roofs with plant, parapets and vents throwing shade.
  • Smart IV curve diagnosis and grid fault recording for remote O&M, plus AFCI 2.0 arc-fault detection.
  • IP66 with C5 anti-corrosion, DC Type I+II and AC Type II surge protection. 40kg, smart forced air cooling, under 7W night consumption.

Price includes 15% VAT. Supply only: installation, wiring, protection and balance-of-system are not included.
