Who this suits
A 600W bi-facial PERC panel for installations where the rear face can actually earn its keep: ground mounts, elevated or open-back carports, and light-coloured flat roofs. Bi-facial gain comes from light reflected onto the back of the module, so it needs a reflective surface and air behind the panel.
Before you buy, check
- Will the rear face see light? Flush-mounted on a tile roof, a bi-facial panel behaves largely like a standard one. The premium only pays where the back is open.
- String voltage. Confirm the module’s open-circuit voltage against your inverter’s maximum DC input across your coldest expected morning, when voltage is highest.
- Mounting. 182mm-cell 600W modules are large. Confirm your rail spacing and roof loading.
What else you will need
Mounting rails and clamps suited to the module dimensions, MC4-compatible DC cabling, DC isolation and surge protection, and an inverter with the MPPT window to match your string design.
