Huawei SUN2000-100KTL-M2 100kW Three Phase String Inverter

A 100kW three-phase grid-tie string inverter from Huawei’s Smart PV Controller range, for large commercial, industrial and utility-scale arrays. This is a grid-tie inverter, not a hybrid: it does not run a battery and gives no backup during an outage.

What this model does

• 100kW nominal AC output (110,000VA maximum apparent power), 144.4A at 400V nominal output current, 160.4A at 400V maximum, on 380/400/480V three phase.
• 10 MPP trackers, up to 2 inputs each, so 20 strings can be tracked independently. On a large roof with multiple pitches, shading and staged expansion, that granularity is the difference between a good yield and a compromised one.
• Maximum PV input 1,100V, MPPT range 200 to 1,000V, 30A per MPPT, 40A short-circuit.
• 98.6% at 400V, up to 98.8% at 480V (98.4% European) peak efficiency.
• Smart String Level Disconnector, so a faulty string can be isolated remotely instead of sending someone onto the roof.
• Arc fault protection and smart I-V curve diagnosis, which finds underperforming strings from the office rather than by inspection.
• Integrated PID recovery, reversing potential-induced degradation in the modules rather than just avoiding it.
• Type II surge arresters on DC and AC, insulation resistance detection, residual current monitoring and PV ground-fault protection.
• 1,035 x 700 x 365mm, 93kg, IP66, smart air cooling, under 3.5W overnight. Monitoring via FusionSolar with RS485, MBUS, and optional 4G or WLAN dongles.
