Who this suits
A residential or light commercial install that needs meaningful storage in a rack rather than a wall-mounted box. 16kWh of LiFePO4 covers a normal family evening peak comfortably and leaves headroom for a heavier winter night.
Before you buy, check
- Voltage class. This is a low-voltage unit. It pairs with LV hybrid inverters and will not work with an HV inverter.
- Rack space. Rack-mount batteries need a cabinet or frame, ventilation and service access. Budget for the rack if you do not have one.
- Can your array refill it? 16kWh of storage behind a small array is capital that never cycles. Size the two together.
What else you will need
A compatible LV hybrid inverter, a rack or cabinet, battery cabling sized for the current, and DC protection between battery and inverter.
